Ultratech Cement’s profit down 7%
According to Ultratech Cement, the net profit for the quarter ended June 2022 has declined by 7.45% to Rs. 1582/- Crore. Last year in this quarter this amount was Rs. 1700/- Crore.
Revenue for the quarter was Rs. 15,163.98/- Crore and last year this amount was Rs. 11,829.84/- Crore.
The expansion plan of the company is ready and will be implemented in 2023. This will increase the company’s capacity by 159.25 million tonnes per annum and will make the company the 3rd largest cement company in the world.
The company utilized 83% of its total capacity during the quarter. Total production increased by 17% and revenue by 34% during the quarter.
