Arthsanket Maharashtra Growth Story Conclave 2nd edition concluded in collaboration with ‘Thane Small Scale Industries Association’

Maharashtra Growth Story Conclave was organized by Arthsanket to discuss the progress and development of Maharashtra as a state. Dr. Amit Bagwe and Mrs. Rachna Bagwe, founders of Arthsanket, Mr. Anand Chari of Bse Sme, Honorary Secretary of Thane Small Scale Industries Association Mr. Sunil Kulkarni, Mr. Reenav Manseta of Khandwala Securities Limited, Mr. Yes Bank as special guests for the event. Deepak Sharma was present.

With a vibrant mix of industries ranging from IT and manufacturing to agriculture and tourism, Maharashtra has shown remarkable growth over the years. The aim of the conference was to highlight the factors contributing to this success, such as government initiatives, infrastructure development and investment opportunities.

Dr. Amit Bagwe unfolded the rising graph of Maharashtra’s progress before the people. He opined that Maharashtra has always played the role of a big brother in India. The name ‘Maharashtra’ was first mentioned by the Chinese traveler Huan Tsang in the 7th century. Maharashtra has about 4 million small scale industries, which provide employment to more than 10 million people. From April 2000 to September 2022, the inflow of foreign direct investment into Maharashtra was ₹ 10.88 lakh crore, which was 28.5% of the total foreign investment in the country. He also informed that Maharashtra has become the largest manufacturing state in India.

Mr. Sunil Kulkarni, Honorary Secretary of Thane Small Scale Industries Association briefed the audience about the organization’s work and glorious history. He also expressed the opinion that entrepreneurs will definitely benefit if they are associated with the organization.

449 small and medium entrepreneurs have raised capital worth crores of rupees by listing in the Bombay Stock Exchange. Most of the small entrepreneurs are from Maharashtra. According to Mr. Anand Chari of BSE SME, the total market capitalization of companies listed in Bombay Stock Exchange BSE SME has reached almost Rs 80,000 thousand crores.

Yes Bank Mr. Deepak Sharma gave information about the various schemes of the bank and also guided how to overcome the difficulties faced in taking loans.


Mr. Reenav Manseta of Khandwala Securities Limited gave information to the small and medium entrepreneurs on how to raise capital from the stock market and the necessary information for the same.

Mrs. Sonali Ghate Bane, Mr. Shivam Gupta, Hotel MH 09 Farmer, Mr. Deepak Pavaskar, Mr. Yogesh Mategaonkar, Mr. Prafulla Dhaktode, Mr. Dinesh More was honored with Arthasanket Business Achievers Award.

Dr. Payal Nandurkar gave information about the work of his organization ‘WE’ The recycling company. Mrs. Rachna Bagway expressed thanks.

Also information was given about the project of Film Janak Dadasaheb Phalke Township, Shelu.
