Tata Power sees 90% increase in profit
According to Tata Power, the company has seen a 90% increase in its consolidated net profit during the April-June quarter, amounting to Rs. 883.54/- Crore.
The company has made this profit due to the increase in income. Last year in this quarter, the company had Rs. 465.69/- crore was net profit.
In this quarter, the company earned Rs. 14,638.78/- crores has earned a total income of Rs. Last year in this quarter this amount was Rs. 10,310.21/- Crore.
The total expenditure during the quarter was Rs. 14,660.14/- crore and the company is going to make a capital investment of Rs.14,000/- for 2022-23 and will invest Rs.10,000/- crore in renewable energy sector.
The company will set up a 4-GW solar cell and module plant with the Tamil Nadu government.
