Punjab National Bank’s profit falls by 70%
Punjab National Bank sees 70% decline in first quarter profit
According to the state-owned Punjab National Bank, net profit fell by 70% to Rs. 308.44/- Crore. Last year in this quarter, the company had Rs. 1023.46/- crores was net profit.
In the quarter ending March this amount was Rs. 201.57/- Crore.
The total income has decreased and this amount is Rs. 21,294/- Crore. Last year in this quarter this amount was Rs. 22,515/- Crore.
Income from interest has decreased and this amount is Rs. 18,757/- Crore. Last year in this quarter this amount was Rs. 18,921/- Crore.
