Bharti Airtel sees 467% increase in net profit
Telecom company Bharti Airtel reported a 466.8% increase in net profit for the quarter ended June to Rs. 1607/- Crore. Last year in this quarter this amount was Rs. 284/- Crore.
Total revenue increased by 22.2% to Rs. 32,805/- Crore.
The average revenue per user is Rs.183/- and the company strives to retain the best customers.
Gross profit margin was 50.6%, an increase of 150 bps.
Mobile revenue has grown by 27.4% and the company is striving to acquire customers for 4G.
